Upon arrival at the Kushok Bakula Airport, our representative will welcome and assist you to transfer to your hotel. Check-in at hotel on reaching and relax. It is advisable to rest on the first day to acclimatize to the high altitude of the place. However, a small excursion may be taken in the evening.
Post breakfast drive along the Indus River visiting various attractions such as Sindhu Ghat, Shey Palace, 3-Idiots School, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery
After Breakfast, checkout from the hotel and start for Khardung La Pass which is the Highest Motorable Pass in Ladakh (18,379ft). Thereafter, resume the journey toward your resort/ hotel. Enroute Visit Diskit Monastery. You can choose either of the add-ons and stop at various places for the activities. Dinner will be served at the resort (buffet).
Post Breakfast head to Thang Village at the LOC. It is the last village on the Indian Side of the LOC and one can see the Pakistani Village “ Farol” The village was seized from Pakistan along with three other villages in the area as a result of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Later visit the village of Turtuk, its unique Balti culture and return.
Post Breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake via Shyok (5 hrs Drive). Check-in to your resort/hotel on reaching. Stroll around the lake and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the lake.
Post Breakfast return to Leh via Changla Pass
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport.
